AI-powered tarot reading with a human touch
MirAI is a mobile app that blends ancient tarot wisdom with modern AI. Built for open-minded and curious users, it offers a deeply personal reading experience. Every interaction is shaped by who you are and what you seek, using both AI-generated language and images to guide the way.
The project started in 2023 with a simple question. Can technology make tarot more personal, more magical, and more accessible? I joined the project as the solo designer, working directly with the team behind @Kittyplays to bring that vision to life.
Took ownership of product, visual, and brand design from concept to delivery
Designed the user flow to help people navigate readings easily and intuitively
Researched and tested AI models for both text generation and image creation
Created a customizable tarot experience where users could choose oracles and set preferences
Developed a visual identity that matched the app’s mystical tone and spiritual audience
Each tarot draw is generated using an AI language model, so no two readings are the same. Users get messages that feel specific and intentional, not vague or copy-pasted.
Tarot cards are illustrated in real time using AI-generated imagery. This adds a visual layer of meaning and makes the app feel more alive and personal.
Users can select different oracles and themes to guide their readings, giving them control over the kind of experience they want.
The experience was designed to feel meditative, not cluttered. Clear flows, calm visuals, and intentional pacing help users stay focused and present.
MirAI launched as a one-of-a-kind tarot app, built not to predict the future, but to help users reflect on the present.
With AI personalization and an elegant interface, it gave people something rare technology that listens. And responds with care.
